Adventures

This weekend + a few days, Les & I have been left alone... A taste of "empty nesters", if you will. The girls went to Aberdeen and the dogs went with them so it was literally just the two of us! Saturday after we sent the kids off, we kept busy running errands, mostly looking for rims for Brianna's car. Didn't have dogs at home to worry about letting out, so we really didn't pay much attention to the time. By the time we got home, we ate dinner, Les set the BSU game to record and we, spur of the moment decided to go see a movie. Bad news was the theater next to us was sold out - to the airing of the BSU game, so we heard lots of cheering going on during our movie! We got home in time for Les to start watching the game and fast forward through the commercials - didn't quite catch up to the actual game before it got over.

Only in the Treasure Valley...
...can one play in the snow and hike a trail in the same day - 16 miles (or so) away from each other.

Sunday we were eating a leisurely breakfast while playing cribbage (I skunked him a few nights before... his paybacks are brutal!! At least he didn't double skunk me!) and I decided that we should go for a little Sunday drive up to Bogus... Yes, I volunteered to go up to Bogus - in the snow... But, you see, there was a bit of snow up there and none here & I decided that I could handle a little bit of snow on those roads to go see where Les & the girls like to play in the winter - before the roads got bad & I wouldn't want to go.

Snow topped Bogus Basin from Meridian Road in Kuna. Our destination for the day.

On the road to Bogus.

The parking lot where they prefer to park. Just gear up and ski out of the pickup.

Drifting Snow - we walked through that to see one of the runs they frequent.

The run. (Sliver Queen)

Walking through the first time, I sunk to my knees in that spot there. So I was trying to get the snow out of it, so I could stand in it and show how deep it was (and to throw a snowball at Les).  When I picked my one foot up to step in the hole, the back foot started to sink & I fell...

So nice of Les to have the camera ready... He came and helped me up after he took a few pictures. ;) It was pretty funny - except we got in trouble (sort of). Ski patrol was out making sure people were staying off the slopes (it's not open yet) and even though we weren't on a run, I guess they didn't like where we were. They have no idea that that is the closest I'll ever get to being on a run!!! This also wasn't really a part of my "tour bogus" plan and I wasn't dressed for playing in the snow. Tennis shoes & sweats don't make good playing in the snow gear and I was wet from the waist down. BUT, I am not complaining at all. We had a blast up there.

Another run. (Injun Joe/Inspiration)

Panoramic from a parking lot.

We saw this fire when we left Kuna in the morning - it burned all day. Found out later that it was a haystack fire just south of Kuna.

Another run. (The Bowl)

After coming down the mountain we went up 8th Street into the foothills and Les was showing me some of the trails he mountain bikes on with the guys. We went up to a place called Foothills Learning Center. I didn't even know this place existed. They have a story trail that goes around the outside of the Center - it is geared for kids, but we decided one day we'd come back and check it out anyway - when I wasn't cold & wet... Besides, they change the stories monthly, so we gotta go back at least once a month! And, maybe hike a trail around there that is easier then what they all mountain bike on!

From the parking lot we walked up this trail a short distance just so I could check out the trail.

This Mountain Dandelion sculpture is in front of the learning center.

It is also a functioning weather vane with a revolving top. Also in true dandelion form - 3 little seeds have "blown off" and were on the roof of the center. Unfortunately my picture of that didn't turn out well.

We left the Center and drove up a bit further. This was taken from the 8th Street Parking lot. You can see some trails on the side of the hills and the fire in Kuna in the background.

This is from the same parking lot, just looking a little more east. Les has been on that ridge there that goes up and down & up and down... then come around and one trail comes down this side of the hill that you can see.

Then we decided that we were hungry and maybe we should get something to eat. So we tried out the Boise Fry Company. I've heard lots of hype about it - best fries anywhere and a variety of dipping sauces, too. Well, it is a Fry company and fries are the main menu item. They serve A burger (w/cheese if you want) as a side item, and drinks. OK, the one burger does come in choice of beef, bison or vegan... We weren't real impressed though. Not a place we will probably go to again and the fries weren't worth going out of the way for. Now if you're the adventurous type you may want to try it out. They have purple potato fries & sweet potato fries among the regular russets and Yukon golds and dipping sauces you'd never (probably) think of...blueberry ketchup...maple marshmallow sauce. We had some garlic aioli - but that's about as far out as we ventured!

Overall, a very wonderful day. :)

Reno Trip

At the beginning of the school year we learned that there would be a possible trip to Reno for Marching Band Competition. We finally learned that it would happen. It also just happened to be ON our anniversary. So I told Les right from the start that we would go for Tiffani, but on our own, we were not chaperoning. Besides, he has definitely paid his dues with all the concessions, helping with the band in past years and Brianna's freshman year trip to Reno (He didn't chaperon then, but towed the band trailer.) I figured it was time for him just to be a supportive parent in the stands. :) {PS from Tiff: and wasn't that fun, despite it being sort of on your anniversary. At least you got to travel for your anniversary, right? I don't know anything funny to say here. It just feels like a history lesson. hmm... Oh well, move along.}
So we both took Friday off work and headed out before the buses left the high school. Tiffani had taken Simba over to Jerri's Thursday night and Les & I took Tessa out to Gma J & Gpa Ron's in the morning. We headed out from there. A couple hours into Oregon the buses passed us - this was an issue with the buses on the previous trip - going WAY over the speed limit. We all stopped in Winnemucca and we got to see Tiffani for a few minutes & then took off again. All in all it was around an 8 hour drive of long straight roads and nothing to see! The sun was shining in the window on me the whole way, which made for a not-so-great driving partner. I ended up sleeping most of the drive and had a bad headache from the sun by the time we got there. Not the best way to start an anniversary weekend trip. :/ {PS from Tiff: Yeah. Next time buses, slow down!!! I like following the law. It is nice going the speed limit. Maybe I would not have had so many troubles writing because I felt like we were going too fast. Just sayin. I also didn't even know we had to go through Oregon. How nice.}
Our hotel ended up being on the other side of Reno, about 15 minutes to downtown Reno. We stayed there because we got a room for $34 a night and it was a "family friendly" casino/hotel that was suppose to have mini golf at it. And we didn't want to stay in the same hotel as the kids! Now, there are many hotels IN Reno, but trying to get any information as to where they were staying was impossible if we wanted to get our reservations taken care of as soon as possible, so we ended up in Verdi. Anyway, we got there and unload our stuff and then decided to go back into Reno and check out some stuff. One thing we (Les) really wanted to do was check out a rock wall that was up the side of a building. {PS from Tiff: I wanna go sooooo bad!!! So bad. Please? Thank you. I would have rather done that than Thrill the World. And what stinks is that Thrill the World was right across the street from that. :/ }
That's it - that metal looking cage on the side of the building above the stop light. My first thought was, that won't be so bad (for someone else!) to climb, at least you are protected by the "cage". Ha! Not the case - you climb on the outside of that! Really! The really nice thing about this adventurous place is it is an old hotel/casino that was closed a few years ago. This new company is turning it into a family/pet friendly hotel where there is no smoking, no gaming & no whining. Almost worth coming back to. The pet friendly hotel will be open next spring. The second floor where the outdoor rock wall starts also has 2 huge bouldering rocks, and a kids bouldering area. {PS from Tiff: So very much do I desire to go there. :) Anyhow. Some band kids thought I was crazy, or a thrill seeker, or something along those lines. Maybe I ski through trees. Maybe I ski fast. Maybe I ski through trees fast. Maybe I rock climb on occasion. Maybe I wanna rock climb on the side of a building. Does that make me insane? No. It makes me my dad's daughter. At the Grand Sierra Resort there was a mock sky diving thing and I said I wouldn't mind trying that too. A bunch of boys said that they would be too scared. LAME. I think it would be AWESOME!}

We were driving down to find the Atlantis casino because it was suppose to be this really fantastic place. There was a huge water feature (or 2) but other then that it looked like every other casino, so we didn't stay long. We headed back towards the arch and went into Circus Circus to find something to eat. We ended up at a place called Fresh Express and ordered hamburgers for dinner - made to order at the grill while you wait. It was the best food we ate all weekend! We then went back to the hotel and walked around there looking for the mini golf. It was a little 9 hole course inside the family fun center tucked away into a corner. We didn't play... {PS from Tiff: Sad day. No mini golf for you... No mini golf for me either. Haha... Best food I ate all weekend: well, I don't know. It was all pretty gross. I mean really, when McDonalds is a contender it had to be pretty bad. I think that is mostly due to they had Sprite, but still. Really.}

Saturday morning we headed back to Circus Circus for the breakfast buffet (breakfast at our hotel was a Denny's restaurant). Les was hoping for some fresh squeezed orange juice. The orange juice, I don't think it was even real! It tasted like bad Tang. The buffet was good though and had lots of food. {PS from Tiff: Our breakfast was OK. The potatoes were good. Eggs and bacon gross. Yummy-ish muffins. And decent oarnge juice.}

We then drove over to the National Automobile Museum - the one thing we wanted to do while down there. We got there just before it opened, so we took a little walk along the river next to the museum. Here are a few snapshots from inside the museum. There are 4 galleries each with a certain era of cars and then the hallways between the galleries are set up like a street of certain era with store fronts and cars parked in front of them. It was a really neat place to spend a few hours. {PS from Tiff: We were at the Sierra Band Crusades Marching Competition. Watching little bands. Who had it better? I got a sun burn, so lets think this through.}

How'd you like this for a little "red" wagon!?
{PS from Tiff: How patriotic.}

1912 International $950 (way back when!) {PS from Tiff: Spiffy. Hope it doesn't rain on you.}

1910 Rolls-Royce $7500 (Neat looking car - it was really long!) {PS from Tiff: I was really hoping for a pun on at least one of these, but it hasn't come yet. Come on funny bone, start working again.}

Brianna, this one's for you. 1912 Rambler - the actual car used in the Titanic. It was in the scenes on the dock before the ship's departure from Southampton, England. {PS from Tiff: The actual one from the Titanic, guys. The actual one. Not another one like it.}

Here is a "Turn of the 20th Century Street". The 1926 Ford Model T black car in front is the only car you are allowed to touch/sit in at the museum. {PS from Tiff: Man, you two were right. This is really hard since I wasn't there. Oh fine then.}

This is my absolute favorite automobile in the whole museum, I think.1928 Chevrolet $475. {PS from Tiff: Adorable. That is your green mom. And a Chevrolet for dad. How nice.}

Here's a panoramic of one of the galleries.
{PS from Tiff: Panoranamania!!!!}

1953 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible - Owned by John Wayne. {PS from Tiff: Forgive me. Who is John Wayne? And why did he give up his 1953 CCC as I have now named it?} (Tiff - an American icon as far as Western movies are concerned... and because he's no longer alive....)

After the museum we went back to the famous Reno Arch to get a closer look at the rock wall. We went inside the building (now called CommRow - it was the Fitzgerald's Building). {PS from Tiff: Reno: The biggest little city in the world. That's what that says, if you can't read it. I really think that the rock wall will be more famous in my mind. Where did you go? Oh, that famous rock wall in Reno next to that arch thing. There's an arch? Yeah. It used to be famous.}

 We were able to go out on the deck around the rock wall at the 2nd story of the building. Not a very wide deck & not much of a fence around it either. {PS from Tiff: Oooohhh.. Who's that I see? Mom!?!?! On a not very wide deck without much of a fence?!?!?! We gotta get photo evidence of that. Wait. We already did. (Thank you funny bone for kicking in. Don't fail me now.)}

Here's a picture looking up the wall from the deck. {PS from Tiff: Fun. Fun fun fun fun fun fun fun. Fun. Did I mention that looks fun? I did? Ok. Well, can you blame me?!?! It does look fun.}

And a couple from across the street below. The rock wall is 164 feet from the 2nd story deck. Funny story - The band had signed up to do the Thrill the World thing Saturday night at the Arch. When they all got down there, some of them were "taking bets" on if Les would want to climb that wall. They didn't know we'd spent an hour down there checking it out!! {PS from Tiff: Fun. Fun fun fun fun fun fun fun. Fun.Fun. Fun fun fun fun fun fun fun. Fun. What?!?! Two pictures. Twice the fun. Give me a break...}

And now the event of the day, the reason we are in Reno.
The final marching band competition for the season (and for all the seniors)! {PS from Tiff: Quit reminding me!! I know it is my last, but that doesn't mean I want it to be. Troopers anyone?}

After checking out the rock wall, we went to UNR where the competition was being held. We timed it just right - the first band we saw was the first of the 5 bands in Kuna's division. Kuna played last and then there was a break before the open division. 4 bands played and then another break and finally awards. Oh the anticipation! Within each division, first awards were given to the different parts of the show (all those went to Damonte High in our division so it was kind of a given that they'd get 1st overall). The 5 girls were standing out on the sidelines waiting... 5th place announced... Galena, 4th...Carson, 3rd...Nevada Union.
I'm sure as this was announced the girls (& the whole band were beside themselves!) Wow!!! They really did it! A completed show and a lot of hard work (A LOT of extra work on Tiffani's part) and they brought home the 2nd place trophy!  {PS from Tiff: One sec. I just got teary. Again. So. That weekend at Grandma J's. And all of the late nights at the high school practicing with the girls and Zach. Yeah. Uhhh.. I think it paid off. Despite the mass of frustration, sadness, and occsaional bitterness.We pulled it off. A couple of McQueen sponsors were there, and told mom and dad that they liked our show, how it was music and all that, but it had a storyline and feeling. Desirae said that judging by the facial expressions of the people in the stands that they were excited for the next song because they were getting involved in it. Thank you Guard for all you did, despite everything. Thank you Brynn and Rachel for doin what you do. Thanks for all the advice from everybody. Even Shahayla. Practicing my scream. "You can't smile when you scream!" I suppose I didn't smile when I screamed. Thanks instructors for instructing. Thanks Zach, for dealing with my fear. I think I am not over it completely, but whatever. Thanks for the memories, most of all. No. Wait. Most of all, thank you God for giving me this opportunity, and introducing all of these great people in my life. Thanks mom and dad for letting me do this, too. :) }
Great work! What a way to end the season. :) {PS from Tiff: Tell me honestly, Shahayla, Brynn, and Tori. Did you ever think that it would be US accepting an award together. For the band. When we were little - er. Littler. We are all pretty little still, but when we were littler, did you ever think this picture up? I don't think so. :) I am so glad that it could be with four great friends and beautiful people. :) }

After the competition, we went our separate ways again. The band was going back to their hotel to get ready for the whole "Thrill the World" thing. Reno had 151 official sign ups for it and about 80 of that was the Kuna High School Band!!! And then they were coming over to the Grand Sierra Resort for pizza and glow in the dark bowling. We decided we'd go over there so we could celebrate with them since we didn't have any other definite plans. {PS from Tiff: Compared to the competition, the rest of the trip was rather blah. I was kinda on an emotional roller coaster from happy, excited, sad, bittersweet, headache, and exhaustion. Sleepy time. But no.}

The resort has a floating driving range. We sat and watched for a bit. If you make a hole in one in that far left back one with the palm trees you could win a trip to Hawaii. {PS from Tiff: I saw it in the dark. I thought, "how interesting. Bus, will you please not go 35 in the parking lot. It is not a race. Thank you for nothing."}

Then we went to the other side of the resort and there was a mini golf place there. So we got to play our round of mini golf anyway. :) (I beat Les...) Then we went into the actual resort hotel part to find a place to eat dinner. We went to a place called Johnny Rockets. It was ok... Like I said, the best food all trip was that little corner grill on the first night. By the time we finished eating and found the bowling place, the band was just getting there. So once again, good timing. They got their pizza and bowling stuffs and most had a grand time. Some, the adrenaline rush of the day had hit and now crashed and several were ready to go back to the hotel and be done! Les and I did the same... except we went back to the hotel and played cribbage (I won...) before we crashed. Oh wait - we got back and they had tried to fix the sink in our room that was plugged and left a mess in the sink. Rather then waiting for someone to come clean it, they gave us a new room. So we moved rooms & then played cribbage... :) {PS from Tiff: Still no mini golf for me... Jeez mom, aren't you a winner here. :) }
We got about an hour out of Reno before we heard from the crew that they were heading out. For that l-o-n-g road home. {PS from Tiff: On the way there, a nice Back to the Future marathon. And the way back... The Incredibles, Hercules, The Princess Bride (what a let down, the disc we had had a scratch on it and it skipped the whole Miracle Max scene!), and How to Train Your Dragon. The long road just got shorter.}

And then it was right back into the business of life. We went to Rob's house so Les could get his pickup. We got home, unloaded the trailblazer and then Les went to New Plymouth to get Tessa and I went to the High School to wait for Tiffani. Then we went over to Jerri's to get Simba. And life is back to normal - whatever that is - now that guard is done... {PS from Tiff: Normal? What is this normal you speak of? I thought it was a myth. Grandma J's thing says that normal is just a setting on the dryer. My addition: A setting not often used. I am not entirely sure I am ready for this to be over. I don't want to do winter guard. That's for sure. And since we aren't having one anyway... What to do, what to do? I know! Let's further examine the option of the Troopers Drum and Bugle Corp. Enjoy!!!}

Food & Wine

It's been about 3 weeks since the last update. Life has just been guard, work, school - repeat... :) But Tiffani did have a free weekend in October and she spent it with Grandma J & Grandpa Ron & the added bonus of Joy being there also.  Last year she had so much fun stomping grapes that they "made a date" with the grapes that they couldn't be ready until Tiffani's free weekend. Fortunately that happened!
 {PS from Tiff: It is true. I love to stomp grapes. So. Stinkin. Much. Here's the process: First stand in a bucket of sanitizing water. Cold sanitizing water. Brrr.... Then stomp grapes in bucket numero dos to music. Or just talking. But music is so much better. I quite like it, and will make it a point to do this as many years as it is physically possible. Nice leg work out too.}

Washing the feet first and then stomping the grapes.
{PS from Tiff: So, I am not sure, but I think at this point we were listening to Michael Buble. Maybe it was Queen. Not sure. Either way... Or wait... did we listen to Elton John too? I don't remember. Oh well, it is still good music.}

Tiffani spent alot of her time doing choreographing to get it ready for the show.
(Photos from Joy's iPad) {PS from Tiff: Oooh! Aren't those shoes just the most darling things!?!? (wink wink... sarcasm alert!) I did spend much time choreographing. I think that I either did or helped with most of all of the show. Just sayin. I was a little stressed. But hey! It paid off! Wait... Do you guys know that part of the story yet? I don't think so... I'll just stop there then. :) }

Speaking of making things... it's been awhile since I've posted any food pictures. This first one I made awhile ago. I found a list of things to make with Ramen noodles, that were easy to make and inexpensive, too. Brianna used to eat Ramen noodles often so I thought she might like to change 'em up a bit. I don't know if she's tried any of the recipes yet, but this Raman Noodle Lasagna was pretty good. Not much of a cooked spinach person - but this was good. {PS from Tiff: I don't know if I remember correctly, but I think I liked it. Hmm.... Guess you will have to make it again mom.}
Layer 4 noodle squares in a 11x7. Layer with cooked sausage or ground beef, a can of your favorite spaghetti sauce, a layer of cottage cheese and a layer of spinach. Top with more spaghetti sauce & cover with a generous amount of shredded mozzarella. Cover and bake at 350 for 30 min. Remove foil & bake 10 more min. Enjoy. {PS from Tiff: HEYYY!!! That's my catchphrase! Enjoy. There. I said it. Ha. :) }

I saw a picture of this, I believe in an email from Taste of Home. And the title "Potato Kielbasa Skillet" made it a winner right away. The picture didn't show as much GREEN as mine does & I didn't think much of it until I was making sure I had everything for it. 4 cups of spinach!! Oh boy! Well, the red potatoes and Kielbasa sausage will win every time, so I made it anyway. I loved the flavors and small amounts of spinach were ok, but there's a LOT in there!!! It smelled wonderful, too! Tiffani walked in from practice and thought we were having Ham Balls for dinner (slight disappointment there) probably because of the sauce for this and for Ham Balls is similar. I will make it again - with less Spinach... {PS from Tiff: Oh pooh on you. I like it!!! Spinach and all! You should try some. Mmmmmm.... Hey now though, we get ham balls tonight! Hoorah!}

Tiffani & I were watching an episode of Giada at Home and she was making vegetarian meals. One of the things she made was Whole Grain Spaghetti with Brussels Sprouts and Mushrooms. You will notice that I don't have a picture of the completed....mess. We didn't make it until several weeks later from watching it, and in reading the recipe we printed, found that it was made different on the show than how the recipe was printed. The recipe says to cook the sprouts, onions, mushrooms & garlic until tender. On the show Giada blended all those things to make a sauce. {PS form Tiff: I don't know what went wrong. Hers looked to good!! I want to go to Food Network Kitchens and watch them make it and see what we gots ta do.}
I attempted to remember how it was made and what turned out was a brown spaghetti with a paste-y green sauce. I really should have taken a picture I guess, because it's hard to describe. Grandpa Ron was a brave soul and ate it, as did I (a small serving) and Tiffani. Everyone else tried it... Leftovers were "round filed". We MAY try it again after we watch the show with it and take notes on the printed recipe of how it was really done!! Tiffani still really liked it and would rather have it then my macaroni salad... Brianna's favorite. Remember the macaroni salad... I'd much rather have this plate then the spaghetti!!! {PS from Tiff: Second chances are always nice. I have given macaroni salad a second chance. And a third. I still don't like it. I think we need to go to Food Network Kitchens. Just sayin. }

And Brooke, this one is for you.... I trusted you... and made my own Dulce de Leche. Oh, boy, is it ever good. My favorite choc./caramel mix is Hershey's kisses with caramel. I didn't have (haven't had for a long time) any, but had some plain Hershey's kisses that I dipped in the caramel to try. YUM!!   {PS from Tiff: Sorry, not a caramel fan.}
Then I had to tuck a little container of it in my lunch box for work, along with an apple. And the next day (as strange as it may sound) along with some pretzels - great for satisfying that sweet/salty craving. Thanks a lot!!! (Really) :) {PS from Tiff: Still not a caramel fan. I like it in some select few candy bars. (snickers and twix) but that is the extent of my caramel likes. }

Hopefully our next step out of the box food wise will not include spinach.... stay tuned. ;) {PS from Tiff: Hopefully it will. Promise that Popeye the Sailorman is not writing the PS from Tiffs. I really am liking spinach. A lot. :) }

Video of the grape stomping and flag work.
{PS from Tiff:: Oh flag work, how I adore thee. When you are completed. Wait. You are!!!! Ahahahaha... Yay.}
I love the sound of the flag whipping around. So Cool!
Thanks for the video Joy.
{PS from Tiff: Yes Joy. Thank you. Thank you for your funny comments and the use of your iPad and for just plain bein there. Thank you. BTW: in my top favorite sounds: Flags whipping around, drumlines, and rain. Numero uno favorite creepy sound: Freddie Crougar Walking Through Crisp, Dead Leaves Eating Potato Chips Merlot... With a suprise at the end. Haha... Good times. :) }

Wahoo! I got one video to load directly to the blog... But the grape stomping one wouldn't load - kept giving me a server error. So Les put it on youtube - here's the link. {PS from Tiff: We will, we will, squish you. Thanks Grandpa Ron, Grandma J, and Joy! This year was unforgetable, and I can't wait till next year!}

{PS from Tiff: Did you laugh??? I hope so. I was. So hard. I forgot!!! We also did the Cupid Shuffle while stomping grapes!!! To the left to the left to the left. To the right to the right to the right. Now kick now kick now kick. Now walk it  by yourself now walk it by yourself. :) Good times.}

Some Recent Crafting

I am still waiting for Tiffani's commentary on 2 other posts, so I thought I'd fill in with a few of my recent craft projects. These first 3 were a part of what we made at a Stamp-a-Stack class. (You make 2 cards each of 5 different designs.) There were my favorite... All three of them used one of the embossing folders - the first one gave texture to the stockings and the 2nd 2 gave texture/dimension to the background paper.

The sparkle paper is a perfect touch to the stockings.

Simple but elegant, with that raised background.

The was my most favorite of all, and the picture does not do it justice, just couldn't get a real crisp shot of it.

This one is a mix of a digital card and "hand-made" card. I printed the images from My Digital Studio (MDS), cut or punched them out, and then put the card together. I used an embossing folder on the background of this card, too.

SU! just came out with these skinny cello bags. They are 1" x 8". I used them to make treats to give to the kids in our room at school. There is a mix of jelly beans, peanut butter m&m's, jolly ranchers & jordan almonds in them. The jordan almonds were by far the easiest to get into the bags & those were for fellow teachers. The jolly ranchers were very difficult! I printed the images from MDS and then punched them out & layered them to make the toppers.

Reno Video

Final marching performance. I'll post the link for the video here - but details/stories about the weekend will have to wait. Tiffani said I'm not allowed to post about it until she can add her commentary to it. :)

Yes - it is another video of the same thing... but the Color Guard is completely choreographed now, so it's worth looking at again. :)

Also - I tried watching it at school and couldn't get any sound, but it is fine here at home. Les thinks he may have been blocking the microphone on his phone with the way he was holding it. If you have the volume up to hear the music, at the end it gets really loud when he adjusted his hold on the phone - so be warned! (At the very end, about the 11 minute mark.)
