Going Back in Time a Bit...

My friend Julie & I took a little getaway weekend at the Tamarack Resort the end of July. It was a kid free/spouse free weekend...! Cell service wasn't the best & no wireless either so it was just us, our books & knitting needles. We brought lots of food & bought more (I think we ended up taking more back home then we brought up!!) We had our own private hot tub; didn't enjoy it much the first night because the mosquitos were bad, but we fixed that with a trip to the store & enjoyed it the 2nd night. The only bad thing is two night was too short!!! We stopped at the flea market on the way up, went into McCall & shopped a bit, read (mostly me) & knitted (mostly Julie). But she did re-teach me to knit & I started a scarf. (I promise, it will get done, Julie!) Next summer... a little bit longer... Ahhh :-)

One Last Thing Before School Starts

We went on a little family vacation just before school started. B finally had some time, L finally took some time off ;-) and T & I were just ready to go!! We went to Utah and spent to nights in SLC and two nights camping at Lagoon. Here's a "few" pictures of our fun time...
