Happy Sweet 16! #2

We did have a party at home after the amazing haircut. Tiffani didn't want to have a party really, so I told we'd have just family and of course Michala. She wanted Les to grill hamburgers ('cause Dad's are the best) and have fruit salad & potato chips with ice cream & cupcakes for dessert. She choose the cupcake tower for her birthday cake. The (non)party started with volleyball & then badminton in the backyard. The mini "on-the-go" ping pong was pulled out for some after dinner entertainment! Here's a few more pictures of the big day.

More cupcake designs to make!

So excited about flip flop socks!

Just a wee bit excited about her new book! (Ya' think!!)

Happy Sweet 16! #1

Tiffani turned 16 this year. Quite awhile ago she decided she was going to cut her hair & donate it to Locks of Love. First she talked about doing it right after school was done and then moved it up a few days to maybe just before the last day of school. One day in April she came to me and said she wanted to get it done on her birthday. OK!! So the appointed was made... And right after school on her birthday she got her hair cut. WOW!!!

Before - pulled back in a ponytail. Worn this way 98% of the time!

Before - the seldom seen hanging down look. :)

Right before getting it cut.

Put in 3 ponytails to cut it. The middle back one was still super thick to cut through!

Making that first cut...

No turning back now... it's cut! (Best friend Michala in the background. And our awesome stylist Jennifer.)

But hey look, it's not so bad... there's not much hair on the floor...

...it's all in ponytails on the counter!

(Thanks Gpa Ron for the next pictures)
After

Hanging onto the ponytails... Tiffani really does like her new 'do, but that IS a lot of hair!

Love this next set of pictures! :)

That is measuring a whopping 14"!!!

Woohoo for you, Tiffani! I'm proud of you and you are beautiful. :)
